He has written about food, drink, lifestyle, and culture for numerous publications, including Fortune, Details, GQ, Travel and Leisure, T: the New York Times Style Magazine, and the Washington Post. In the mid '90s, he chronicled the cocktail renaissance as the creator of Liquid City, a column devoted to bars and nightlife at the Village Voice. Hugh is features editor at Bon Appetit magazine.

Matthew Yeomans lives in Cardiff, Wales with his wife Jowa and two children, Dylan 6 and Zelda 3. He is the founder of Custom Communication, an online consultancy and publishing company.
