Are social networks taking over our lives?

Just how much time do Britons spend feeding their Facebook/MySpace/Bebo/etc. addiction each week? According to this latest survey, a solid 12 hours each week. And for some, it's as much as six hours per day logged into a social network checking their online status, no doubt cutting into workplace productivity and even into quality TV viewing, and quite possibly (let's hope not) into daily hygiene and consumption habits.

Now, get back to work!
